The workshop will revisit existing ocean data sharing efforts across regions -including data & information management and capacity building initiatives and networks and take stock of ongoing ocean digital twinning efforts with a view to discuss how ECOPs can leverage these efforts and technologies to catalyse the successful delivery of Ocean Decade goals. The session will focus on bringing the perspective of Early Career Ocean Professionals on these developments, identifying barriers that might yet prevent them from seizing the emerging opportunities they bring for ocean science, and proposing solutions based on their needs and expectations.
